Certificates, awards, licenses

For the purpose of improving high quality of telecommunication services, RUE Beltelecom adopted a resolution on the implementation of quality management systems complaint with the requirements of the ISO 9000 standard at the branches of the enterprise on 17 December 2001.

During 2002-2003, RUE Beltelecom carried out a large and laborious work on the development and implementation of quality management systems for design and provisioning of telecommunication services. Common goals, objectives and areas of activities of RUE Beltelecom in the field of quality are documented as Quality Policy of RUE Beltelecom. Work on the quality management system of the parent organization lasted 18 months, and on 7 July 2003, the Quality Management System was put into service.

The logical outcome of this work was the success of the certification of quality management systems of the parent organization and its branches in late 2003-early 2004.

The certificate awarded to RUE Beltelecom proves that the quality management system for provisioning telecommunication services is compliant with the requirements of STB ISO 9001-2001 standard.

In December 2006, upon the expiration of the certificate of conformance, RUE Beltelecom re-passed the certification of quality management system and confirmed the status of the company which is constantly working at improving the service quality and satisfaction of its users. The scope of the re-awarded certificate of conformance applies to the parent organization and all its branches.

In pursuance of the State Standardization Committee Decree No. 31 of 28 May 2007 on the introduction of compulsory certification of services for the repair of subscriber terminal devices in the Republic of Belarus, RUE Beltelecom passed successfully certification of services for repair of general-purpose telephones (cord and cordless) and mobile stations of cellular mobile networks (cell phones). The certificates of conformance (BY/112 04.08.030 00002 иBY/112 04.08.030 00003) were awarded by the certification body UE Giprosvyaz on 29.11.2007.

In December 2007, Beltelecom passed successfully voluntary certification, which proved that the Internet access service using ADSL technology (byfly brand) was compliant with the “technical requirements to the Internet access service using ADSL technology”. UE Giprosvyaz, the certification body of communication facilities and services, awarded a certificate of conformance BY/112 04.08.030 00014 on 29 December 2007.
”Technical specifications to the Internet access service using ADSL technology” is a standard act, which establishes the basic requirements to the service parameters, performance standards, as well as methods of their assessment. The standard act was elaborated by RUE Beltelecom with the purpose of increasing the level and quality of the services provided.

In 2004, for objective assessment of its business activities by outside experts, RUE Beltelecom took part in the competition for awards of the government of the Republic of Belarus for achievements in the sphere of quality of goods and services. A Prize of Government of the Republic of Belarus for Quality Achievements awarded to Beltelecom was an evidence of high appraisal of Beltelecom`s team efforts in steady improvement of quality of the services provided. Beltelecom was presented with an award crystal symbol and a diploma “For the Application of Highly Efficient Management Methods”.
